Samsung Launches The Luxury Wall - Samsung Electronics announced the global launch of The Wall Luxury at the InfoComm 2019 in Orlando, Florida, on Thursday. This is the latest version of The Wall, which is Samsung's modular Micro LED screen that can be assembled into various size and aspect ratios to complement the interior of the room.
"Over the past twelve months, we have continued to monitor trends in interior design and technology to plan and develop The Wall Luxury products," said Seog-gi Kim, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business, Samsung Electronics.
The Wall Luxury presents an increasingly immersive look and ensures that consumers can enjoy this superior image quality in the comfort of their own homes.
Ideal for the brightest areas of luxury residential spaces, The Wall Luxury can be configured in various sizes and ratios, ranging from 73 inches in 2K resolution, to 292 inches in 8K resolution.
With a thickness of less than 30mm, the bezel-less's sleek design features a customizable decoration frame, allowing this screen to blend seamlessly around it, ensuring there is no disruption to the desired ambience.
Available globally from July 2019, The Luxury Wall offers updates on the interface and user experience. The latest model of The Wall not only presents image quality, but also provides a more personal user experience. Customizable decoration frames enhance the screen and ensure it matches any luxury space.
Thanks to the life span of 100,000 hours of self-emitting diodes in it, The Wall is designed to never die, but can turn into a digital canvas that best suits the interior needs and personal mood of its owner.
When the screen is not used, Ambient Mode can display a variety of curating art, from paintings, photos and art videos to images that can be customized with digital frames - which best suits the tastes of the homeowner.
The Wall Luxury is also equipped with the Quantum Processor Flex, an AI-powered image quality engine. It provides scene-by-scene optimized image quality, regardless of the original source format.
To complete this visual display, Samsung has partnered with industry-leading home entertainment and automation providers. These include Harman Luxury Audio and Steinway Lyngdorf for audio solutions; Control4, Crestron and Savant for home automation solutions; and Domotz, Ihiji and OrvC for remote monitoring capabilities.
